Last month, we were invited to Baby Basty's Baptism in Santuario de San Antonio Parish. Family and Friends welcomed Mommy JJ and Daddy Jonas' baby boy into the Christian world in a very cute and festive Owl-themed celebration.

Mommy JJ made the owl invitations herself. Happy Thoughts did a wonderful job setting up the hoot-tastic vibe at the reception. I just love the little details, especially the felt owls used in the centerpiece and the owl lanterns at the entrance. The dessert buffet was also as cute as ever. And the food by Toperio's was delicious. 

Everything was simply OWL-dorable.

The 3rd run for the Babypalooza Bazaar happened last August 17 at the Walter Hogan Center in Ateneo de Manila, Quezon City.

Honeybaby participated as one of the many merchants, selling new and pre-loved items for babies and kids. We brought most of our crochet hats, sun hats, and new items like Sailor hats and headbands and clippies from Keishables.

Just in case you missed us at the event, here are some of the highlights...

The rainy weather did not stop mommies and daddies to come and visit the booths that day.

Being an expectant mommy myself, I looked around the booths too, and bought my soon-to-be baby girl some dresses for only 100php each, as well as breastmilk storage bags from Liquid Gold Ph for only 199php :) But I could only look around for a little while since I have to be the "tindera" of my booth, haha.

But there were a lot of great finds - from clothes, books and toys, to baby needs like bottles, crib linens, and other essentials (Coco's Corner, Mommy's Little Boss, Babysavers just to name some). There were also novelty items from Spunkdesigns, scrapbook/craft materials by the Bee Happy Crafts, nursing and maternity wear by Mamabella, Imported Grocery items by Little Miss Grocer and a lot more!

I also met there some of my friends from my highschool (small world!), Pearl and Franco were managing their shop, OMD Facedolls. Fellow WAHMie Mai was also there too, the mommy behind Dainty Ashley, with her handmade bows and headbands :) I forgot to take a picture with them, boo! Since everything was crazy busy... How to Get there: 

ADMU has recently implemented a one-way scheme inside the campus. Please see below for directions on how to reach Walter Hogan. We will also be placing road directionals to help you navigate your way to our venue

1. Enter the Ateneo campus via Gate 3. If traveling northbound, it is the first gate after the Aurora-Katipunan flyover (across KFC/Gold’s Gym along Katipunan Ave). If traveling southbound, take the U-turn slot just before 

reaching the Aurora-Katipunan flyover, Gate 3 is the first gate after taking the U-turn.

2. Upon entering the campus via Gate 3, turn left at the 2nd corner from guard house (landmark: Xavier Bldg on your right). 

3. At the end of this road, turn left. After the turn, you will find Walter Hogan Conference Center about 50-100 meters on your right.

With the undeniable fact that Minions have indeed taken over on a global scale, they are also invading the Honeybaby Shop! Yes, that's right...the adorable, yellow breed will be available soon! And in complete sizes too (S, M ,L , XL). Yup, so that every baby and child will get the chance to be an adorable little Minion, hihi. 

Of course, the Monsters Inc. breed would also like to get with the party. Yes, Mike and Sulley of Monsters Inc. or Monsters University are also taking over the shop!

But in line with keeping my intention of making every baby unique, Minions and Monsters will be of limited stocks, just like any other Honeybaby Hat.

I know there are a lot of other hats and beanies out there, mostly made of felt cloth. So why choose us? Just because we are one-of-a-kind and no other shop offers the softest crochet hats by far. That's why we continue to showcase only the most adorable, most snug hats for your child. After all, this is a mommy-run business, why trust anyone else? :)

We will also be restocking some favorites, like the Dino Long Tail and the Teddy Bear Beanie (like the one we had for the COANM giveaway)...

Our condo, Sofia Bellevue, is having a Christmas bazaar featuring pre-loved items and various businesses of its homeowners. I'm fortunate enough to be part of this community.

I started out this business out of interest in quirky hats for my little boy. And along the way, I have been lucky to have met friendly mommy bloggers, event organizers and even my customers, through contest giveaways and through the recent bazaar we've participated in. 

The first giveaway we hosted through Jenny Ong's blog. The second was through Michelle Lim's blog. We've even made a feature on Smart Parenting Magazine! And the shop has gained fans and followers ever since. 

But the thing I like most about doing giveaways is being able to make one mommy happy! :) 

To be honest, I'm an avid contest giveaway enthusiast too, and I've been lucky once or twice, and it made me jump for joy! So I guess it's time to give back...

Christmas is just around the corner *excited much* and this holiday, I'm happy to be hosting another giveaway! We've recently reached 500 LIKES and it's my way of saying "Thank you" :)

Just about 5 months old in the online biz, Honeybaby has already joined it's first bazaar at the Baby Carnival Bazaar at The Filipinas Heritage Library at Ayala Triangle, held last November 9.

The event was organized by Mommy Seller Event Management for the benefit of the National Children’s Hospital  and the White Cross Children’s Home.

Other known mommy sellers were there too: Mommy Matters, Bug&Kelly, Medela Moms, My Baby Dragon and many more. Kids had fun in the Ton of Fun booths. There were face painting and free cotton candy!

We also sold our hats at LOW, LOW prices!
