There comes a time in every parent's life when you have to face one of parenthood's toughest challenges: Potty Training.
Oh yes. Kiel is almost 3 years old, but I'm having a tough time changing his diapers now, not only because he's very active and highly spirited, but also because his diapers are 10 times more stinky! What have I been feeding this child? haha...
Kidding aside, I want to take Potty Training in baby steps. I read that you cannot force a child if he is not ready, just like when he is learning how to walk, or hold utensils and feed himself. You have to look for cues if your child is indeed ready for another milestone. I also read that I don't have to worry so much about the dreaded Potty Training dilemma, since my kid won't be going to college in diapers anyway. Good point!
I've already started buying him briefs and a couple of training pants. And we also tried Huggies Dry Pants. It's like underwear crossed with training pants. Awesome!
It has an all-around stretchable waistband so diaper changing is easy. You just pull it up like briefs, so at least I'm on the right track with this Potty Training. I told Kiel he was going to wear his brief, hihi. It's comfy like undies so he won't tell the difference (I hope).
